chasing oliviaBLURB:
How far would you go to reignite the spark you once had?

Two years later, Trace and Olivia are as much in love as they’ve always been. But the spark they once had for life is waning and Trace is determined that they find it again. His solution? A road trip. But he doesn’t tell Olivia the real reason they’re heading north.

Olivia is happy to go on a road trip and have more adventures with Trace. Besides, she needs a distraction from the soap opera her life has become. With college over, this is the perfect opportunity to chase down the carefree girl she once was.
But life isn’t a fairytale and you can only escape reality for so long.

Love, laughs, and a hidden agenda.

That’s the name of the game when you’re Chasing Olivia.

OMG!! I don’t know if I can do this one without giving anything away…sooooo I’ll just sum it up and give my thoughts and try my best LOL! Book 2 is about Trace and Olivia going on a road trip after getting some bad news.  Of course they do some crazy things and Trace encourages Olivia to live and try new things…they meet some new people…people that will change them in ways you won’t believe!

Ok so my thoughts are OMG this book is absolutely, positively AMAZING!! There was laughter (of course its Trace!) and moments of sadness and moments of “OMFG I didn’t see that coming!” This is a MUST read if you loved Finding Olivia!!

Okay so I NEVER include quotes in my reviews but this one was just too funny to pass up!

“’Strangely fascinating.  Unicorns and dragons frolic here while drinking tea and discussing the winner of the latest quidditch match,’ grinning, he tapped his forehead.” – Trace

What are three things about you that might surprise your readers?

1. My mom made up my name. (She must’ve known I would need a weird name to compete with my awesomeness)

2. I used to want to be an actress, but I’m shy so that probably would’ve never worked out.

3. I HATED school. I made good grades but I had a new argument ready every morning as to why I shouldn’t be subjected to its torture. My poor parents.

Tell us about yourself.

I’m really shy, until you get to know me. Then I’m usually the life of the party and you never know what’s going to come out of my mouth. Writing truly is my passion and nothing else could ever make me as happy.

Top 5 favorite scenes from Chasing Olivia?

I can’t tell! That would spoil it!

What scene did you have the most fun writing? Why?

I don’t want to spoil it for someone who hasn’t read it yet, so I’ll just say the whole book. I love Trace and Olivia so much and I’m so sad that their story is over, but I’m happy with where they ended up.

Please tell us about your characters.

Trace is a cocky plaid-shirt wearing mechanic who loves Olivia completely…he also really likes saying things to make her blush. Olivia is shy but I feel like she’s come out of her shell in Chasing Olivia. She still has a hard time handling some of the things Trace says, but she accepts them. Despite their differences Trace and Olivia are perfect for each other.

5 best things about being a writer?

1. Getting to do what I love.

2. Connecting with readers/fans/bloggers

3. Making so many new friends!

4. Meeting readers in person is AWESOME.

5. I can’t think of a fifth one and I hate odd numbers so we’ll just pretend I put a witty response here.

How many more books will be in this series?

So far, only Trent’s book titled Tempting Rowan. At this time I don’t have plans to give anyone else a book/novella/short story. Don’t fret though, I’ll be releasing plenty of books in 2014.

“Well,” he stood, grabbing his guitar case, “I better get ready.”

“You already signed up to sing, didn’t you?” I questioned. “Before we even got here?”

He nodded. “I always have an agenda, babe,” he kissed my cheek before heading for the stage area. He bent to speak with someone, whom I assumed was a manager at the bar, and then he was escorted behind the stage.

I really hoped he didn’t do something to humiliate me. But knowing Trace, the lengths to which he’d go to embarrass me were endless.

I turned in my barstool, so I could see the stage better.

Somebody’s arm brushed mine and I jerked in response.

“Sorry,” they said, and their voice was way too close for comfort. I turned my head sharply and found a guy about my age sitting in Trace’s vacant chair. He had curly blonde hair and pale blue eyes clouded over from alcohol.

“Can I help you?” I questioned, giving the guy the benefit of the doubt.

“I just saw you sittin’ here and thought you looked lonely,” he slurred with a grin, leaning much too close to me. Somebody needed to teach this guy the rules of personal space because he was all up in my bubble, and if it popped, I could not be held accountable for my actions.

“I’m not lonely,” I said sternly, glaring at him, “so run along now.” I waved my hand in dismissal, hoping he got the message.

He grabbed my arm, squeezing much to tight. I bit down on my lip, breathing in and out sharply, hoping to avoid a panic attack. I hadn’t done well with strangers touching me after what Aaron did to me.

“There’s no need to play hard to get,” he flipped a stray blonde curl out of his eyes.

“I’m not playing anything,” I tried to yank my arm from his grasp but he was too strong. “Let me go!” I screamed as panic crawled up my throat. Tears burned my eyes. I pulled my arm again and this time I managed to get him to let go, but I went falling from my seat in the process and landed on the ground, smacking the side of my face sharply against the concrete floor.

“Olivia!” I heard Trace yell, his voice echoing around the whole bar as he yelled into the microphone. I’d been so preoccupied with Mr. Touchy Feely that I hadn’t seen him come out on stage.

Before I had a chance to move, Trace’s familiar scent surrounded me, and his large hands were on my body picking me up.

“Olivia,” he whispered, looking me over. “You’re bleeding.”

I reached up and felt around my eye. My fingers came away with a small smearing of blood. “It’s not that bad,” I shrugged.

His jaw was clenched tight and his eyes screamed murder. “You’re hurt.” He shoved me behind him and glared at Mr. Touchy Feely who was still sitting in his former seat.

“I didn’t do anything,” he held his hands up in surrender. “She just fell.”

“She didn’t just fall,” Trace seethed. “You grabbed her arm and you wouldn’t let go. When a girls says no, it means no!” Suddenly, he was reaching out and grabbing the guy by the shirt collar and lifting him out of the chair.

Holy shit, I knew Trace was strong, but this guy was double his size and built like a linebacker.

“Dude, let me go,” Mr. Touchy Feely tried to pry Trace’s hands off of him, but it was pointless. Trace was in a rage and there was no stopping him. “I wasn’t gonna hurt her.”

“I don’t care what your intentions were,” Trace growled, right up in the guy’s face as he shoved him into a wall. “When a girl tells you to let her go, guess what? You let her go!” He shook the guy forcefully.

I hadn’t seen Trace get this angry in a long time…not since Aaron attacked me. Trace was an easygoing guy and it took a lot to get him riled.

“Trace,” I whispered, placing my hand on his taut arm. “I’m okay.”

Slowly, he turned his head towards me, and some of the anger drained out of him. He released the guy, but not before giving him a hard enough shove that he went sprawling to the ground. The guy looked up in disbelief. For a second I thought he might attack Trace but instead he chose to pick himself up and walk away. I guess he wasn’t as dumb as he looked.

“Stay here,” Trace growled, bowing his head as he walked away. The brim of the fedora hid his gaze from me and I chewed my lip nervously.

Within seconds he was back, his guitar case slung over his shoulder. “We’re leaving,” he took my hand and practically dragged me out of the building.

People stared as we passed, the blue lights in the bar making them look strange—almost alien.

We drove back to the motel in silence, his grip so tight on the steering wheel that his knuckles turned white, and his jaw was clenched. I wanted to say something, but I figured silence was better.

He opened the motel door, letting me in first. I sat on the edge of the bed, nervously fiddling with the edge of my tank top. “Trace—”

“I’ll be back,” he said in a steely tone, slamming the door closed behind him as he left. I jumped at the noise.

My bottom lip trembled with the threat of tears, but I wouldn’t cry. I couldn’t.

Frustrated, I tore off my clothes and changed into pajamas.

I climbed under the itchy covers; eyes wide open.

Let him leave.

I didn’t care.

Honestly, I didn’t.

Okay, I did.

And that’s why it hurt.

COVER RE-REVEAL & COVER REVEAL: Take It All & Promise It All by Emma Grayson

Re-releasing Valentine’s Day 2014

Take it All synopsis

***Inspired by true events***

Judy Garland said it best, ‘For it was not into my ear you whispered but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed but my soul.’

If you asked her why she loved him, she would only be able to tell you it was because he was who he was and well, she was who she was.

Plain and simple.

All her life Lennox Ward felt incomplete. That her heart was always searching for that one special thing; that special someone she had yet to find.

Then Caleb Kingston came strolling back into her life unexpectedly, and little did she know her world was about to come crashing down around her; forever shattering it.

Is love enough to conquer all?

Will she be able to lead them out of hell and off their path of self-destruction?

Or will Caleb take it all?

Take it All excerpt

“Is he here?” asked a panic stricken Lennox.

“What?” he asked, still half asleep and not understanding.

“Caleb, Reed. Is he here? Did he come by?”

Reed nodded and moved from the doorway, letting her inside. She walked into the living room looking around but not seeing him as Reed closed the door behind her. “Where is he?” she asked, looking as she turned around to see Reed looking at her with an unreadable face.

“Lennox –”

“Last night after the concert, he came back to my place and stayed with me. I thought… I laid it all out for him, like Em said,” She paused, taking a breath as her heart rate spiked, “I woke up and he was gone, where is he?”

She didn’t want to believe the feeling she got last night, those kind of things just didn’t happen, she needed him to be true to his word. And for once, just this once, she needed him to have been telling her the truth and not just lying to put her at ease and having no intentions on keeping his word.

“Fuckin’ Christ,” Reed said mostly to himself as he ran his hand through his hair.

“What the fuck is goin’ on?” Emerson exclaimed, through half a yawn. His voice was thick and full of sleep as it had echoed from the hall, not sounding the least bit happy.

“Bro, get out here would ya,” Reed called back, sounding just as unhappy as he walked around Lennox to the couch and grabbed his shirt and pulled it on just as Emerson rounded the corner, his eyes narrowed on Reed then eventually seeing Lennox off to the side.

“What the fuck, man– Lennox– what’re you doing here?” Emerson said, his expression as confused as Reed’s.

“I…” she began, trailing off and looking at Reed for help.

“She’s here looking for Kingston,” he said, eyeing Emerson, who’s head snapped in Reeds direction. “Yeah, man,” Reed said as he nodded, answering his unasked question.

“What’s going on, where is he?” Lennox asked, trying to keep the panic she felt at bay but it was becoming impossible as she watched Emerson and Reed exchange looks.

Emerson’s hand grabbed the back of his neck as he walked over towards her and the pain in her stomach intensified as her pulse began to race, the sound of blood rushing in her ears. “Lennox, um– you wanna sit down?”

“No, Emerson, just tell me,” she pleaded, looking him in the eyes, unsure she wanted to hear what he was about to say. “Where is he?”

He exhaled a deep breath before saying, “I don’t know, Lennox.”

“What do you mean, you don’t know?” she asked, sounding panicked and sick as she looked between Emerson and Reed, who both had dull expressions on their face.

“He stopped by last night, really late and in a hurry, said he needed a few of his things and that was it, he left; just got in his car and took off like a bat outta hell.” He shoved his hands into his jean pockets as he watched Lennox closely.

“Promises,” she mumbled, the words coming out in a whisper, “and lies. Last night… it was telling me the truth, nagging at me to pay attention, warning me even but, I… I didn’t listen, again.”

Their relationship was full of lies, whether it was a small lie or a big lie; a lie is a lie no matter how big it is.

Some of the smallest lies do the most damage.

He hadn’t even tried to get clean this time for her.

He had said he would and went through everything to make her believe in him and his road to recovery but it had all been a facade. Nothing more than a con, that built her up and gave her hope for a future that now felt as if it was just hanging there, in the midst of a fall not knowing where to go. The lies and broken promises weren’t even the most disturbing and painful part for Lennox; that went to just how good Caleb was at it all.

“Lennox, sweetheart, calm down,” Emerson said as he appeared in front of her face, Reed next to him; both looking at her worried.

“She doesn’t look right, man.” She barely heard Reed’s voice that sounded so far away.

“I… I can’t breathe,” she choked out, the pain becoming unbearable as she stood there in front of Emerson and Reed, as it all hit at once.

The pain in her stomach stabbed at the side, her breathing hitched and her chest squeezed in pain as she tried gasping for a breath. Her head pounded against her skull, causing her vision to become blurry and the only thing she could hear was the rushing in her ears as the room spun out from under her and she felt herself fall before everything faded black.

First look at PROMISE IT ALL

© Emma Grayson 2013

Caleb moved out of the darkness with his arms crossed over his chest and his face hard; the muscle in his jaw pulsated.

“What did you just say?” He asked her, his azure eyes dark and narrowed.

Lennox swallowed past the lump in her throat. Her heart pounded in her chest as the anger filled her body.

She knew she was going to regret the words that were about to come flying out of her mouth, but the anger and hurt had taken it course and she didn’t think of the repercussions.

She leaned forward. Her face close to his and her hand on the small bump of her stomach. “What judge in their right mind would give custody of a child to a drug dealing addict,” she said slowly, her words full of malice as she willed the tears to stay back for another couple seconds.

Caleb reeled back an inch and his arms clenched across his chest as if he struggled to keep them there. Lennox’s heart stilled, and for the first time in her and Caleb’s relationship she feared he would raise his hand to her.

She could feel the rage as it radiate off his body as his eyes cut into her deeply and he didn’t utter a word.

Lennox took a step back and slowly tuned away from him, not wanting to make any sudden movements. Finally with her back to him, she walked towards the door and slammed it behind her.

Series: A Fall Away Novel, Book #1.5
Author: Penelope Douglas
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Release Date: December 5, 2013
Tour Organized by: As the Pages Turn

***This novel contains graphic sexual content and harsh language. It is only appropriate for adult readers age 18+.

Have you ever been so angry that hitting things felt good? Or so numb that you actually felt high? The past few years have been like that for me. Traveling between fury and indifference with no stops in between.

Some people hate me for it, while others are scared of me. But none of them can hurt me, because I don’t care about anything or anyone.Except Tatum.

I love her so much that I hate her. We used to be friends, but I found out that I couldn’t trust her or anyone else.

So I hurt her. I pushed her away.

But I still need her. The sight of her centers me, and I can pool all of my anger into her. Engaging her, challenging her, bullying her…they are my food, my air, and the last part of me that feels anything human.

But she left. She went to France for a year, and came back a different girl.

Now, when I push, she pushes back.

OMFG!!! I LOVE Jared and Tate!! These two are so f*cking entertaining and they just draw you in to the story.  I read this book in ONE night…that does NOT happen very often with me.  The chemistry between these two was absolutely mind blowing…This is a MUST read!!! Seriously…I will say this I totally forgot that Bully took place in High School and I read that in ONE night as well and Until You is Jared’s point of view….let me say this I am not usually a fan of YA books but OMG I was soooooo F*cking happy I made the exception for these books because they are that AMAZING!!!

Pulling up the window and leaning out, I spied the branch sliding against the panes above me. With him gone, I’d have to take care of that tomorrow.

The rain was coming down in sheets and made everything glisten under the bright glow of the streetlights. I let my gaze wander through the maze of branches, shaking off memories of which ones I’d scraped my leg on or which ones I’d sat on with Tate.

I loved the damn tree, and I wanted it cut down.

And then…I didn’t even see the tree anymore.

My eyes caught sunshine in a midnight sky, and I fucking stilled.

“What the hell?” I whispered, breathless and not blinking.

She was standing in her bedroom, leaning on the doorframe of her open French doors. And she was staring at me.

What the hell am I seeing right now?

She was supposed to be in Germany with her dad, at least until Christmas.

Every muscle in my body tightened as I supported myself on the window sill, but I couldn’t tear my eyes from her. It was like I was in an alternate universe, starving, and she was a fucking buffet.

She was home.

I closed my eyes for a moment and swallowed down my heartbeat that was creeping up my throat. I was sick, excited, and grateful all at the same time.

Jesus, she’s home.

She wore some little pajama shorts and a white tank top. Not really so different from what I’d noticed she wore to bed a year ago, but for some reason, the sight of her was like a raging fire through my chest. I wanted to rip through the fucking tree and peel all the clothes off of her and love her like the past three years had never happened.

Her hair blew around her, and I could feel her eyes, locked in shadow, on me.

My mouth was dry, and the rush of breath and blood through my body felt so damn good.

Until she backed up and closed the doors.

No. I swallowed, not wanting her to go away.

Go on. Go pick a fight, I told myself, but I shook my head.

No. Just leave her alone. She hasn’t been thinking about me, and I needed to get over it.

I was crawling the walls inside my head, knowing for fact that I needed to grow up and let her be. Let her go to school without rumors and pranks hovering over her. Let her be happy. We were nearly adults now, and this petty shit had to end.

I’d just felt more alive in the past ten seconds than I had in a year.

Seeing that face, knowing I’d wake up to her blaring music and seeing her leave the house to jog in the morning…

My phone buzzed with a text, and I walked over to check it.

It was from Tate’s dad.

Change of plans. Tate’s home. On her own until Christmas. Give her back the house key, and be nice. Or else.

I narrowed my eyes, rereading the text over and over again.

I don’t even think I breathed.

She was alone? Until Christmas?

I closed my eyes, and let out a laugh.

And all of a sudden I was as thrilled as hell to wake up tomorrow.

What are three things about you that might surprise your readers?

  1. When I met my husband I was dating his friend (a guy that performed in skin-suspension shows.) Yeah, google it but beware.
  2. The initial draft of Bully had no intimacy.
  3. I am a total Star Trek fan

Tell us about yourself.

Growing up, I was the oldest, and my parents divorced early on. I grew up fast and sheltered. The little mommy in a house with four siblings. My collars were buttoned up to my neck, and I didn’t do things I wasn’t supposed to. Then…I went to Japan the summer of 2000 with a group of girls from my college, and I broke out of my shell. Way out of my shell! I took trains to Tokyo not knowing a word of Japanese, I bought non-white underwear for the first time in my life, and I climbed a volcano. Traveling helped me grow up and helped build my confidence. It really is the best education.

What was your favorite scene from the book?

From Bully—my favorite scene is the kitchen sink kissing scene. I was soooo happy to finally get to that part when I wrote. The sexual tension was driving me insane, and I was just glad when Jared finally gave in and let himself have what he always wanted.

Top 5 favorite scenes from Until You

  1. Jared’s Grand Gesture
  2. Kitchen Table
  3. Tate Caught Snooping in the Bedroom
  4. Anything Between Jared/Madoc/Jax
  5. Jared/Tate Caught by Jax

What scene did you have the most fun writing?

In Until You, I loved writing the scenes with Jared’s dad.

He’s so diabolical and almost has a sixth-sense. I enjoyed writing someone evil, clever, and cruel. It was a change.

Please tell us about your characters.

Jared is untouchable. Almost. He’s tough, rough, and there’s only one person that could ever bring him to his knees. I don’t like the grovelers in books. I never wanted Jared to do a complete 180. Tate owns him, but he is definitely in command of everything else around him.

Tate is smart, snarky, and a little violent. She will almost always come back with a smart-ass comment or a knee between your legs. She never used to be like that, though. She used to run away from a fight. Not anymore.

Madoc is Jared’s best friend. Quite the player but completely loyal to Jared and Tate. He loses his temper rarely, and when he does, back away.

K.C., Jax, and a few others you also meet in the stories!

5 best things about being a writer?

Love this one!

  1. Set your own schedule.
  2. Daydreaming is a job requirement.
  3. Readers, readers, readers! They validate you with their words and reviews!
  4. Seeing your dream come to life in a story, cover, and a book trailer.
  5. Meeting other authors who you adore.

What romance book character do you identify with most and why?

That is a really tough question, actually. People will probably be surprised, but I identify with my character K.C. the most. The readers didn’t like her so much, and rightfully so, but I think she’s a good example of how young people sometimes lead with their hearts and not their heads.  I was like that as a young adult. K.C. is a bit self-absorbed and makes decisions to satisfy her own motives. As we grow up, we learn that we CAN stand on our own, and it doesn’t matter what others think. As youths, a lot of us aren’t strong enough to face struggles alone. We latch onto weak friendships and fast relationships. K.C. will learn as I did.

What are you currently working on?

I am plotting Rival, Madoc’s book! What other releases do you have planned for 2014? Rival in late summer 2014 and Native in the winter of 2014/2015.

How many more books will be in this series?

Two more.  And whose stories will they be? Madoc’s and Jax’s. Jared and Tate may have a bit of further drama in these stories.

How long have you been writing, what inspired you to start?

I just started writing about a year  and a half ago. I had written little things here and there as a teen, but the serious pursuit didn’t start until recently. My friend is self-published and helped me immensely with editing. Without her, Bully and Until You wouldn’t be the stories they are.

Chapter One Excerpt
Kitchen Promises, Riverside Novel #3

Drake walked in wrapped in only a towel. The toast I was bringing to my mouth suddenly dropped from my fingers as my eyes roamed over his perfectly toned body. My eyes followed down to his perfect V that went just below the towel.
“Breakfast in bed and a show? I’m one lucky gal,” I teased, leaning back against the headboard enjoying the view.
“Someone sounds like they are feeling better.” He smiled.
“Well, I for sure am now.”
“Really? Well, perhaps I should take advantage of that.” He grinned, slowly unwrapping the towel from around his waist. I smirked as I watched him tease me, putting on a show as he finally released the towel. I watched it fall to the ground. I let my eyes wander up and down his body—appreciating every single chiseled curve of muscle.
“It’s not nice to tease,” I reminded him. “You better put out or get out.”
“Oh, I love it when you talk dirty,” he quipped, laughing. “I can’t decide if I love or hate your pregnancy hormones.” He grinned. It was true—I had a love/hate relationship with them as well. On top of always wanting to sleep and eat, I also wanted sex—all the time. Not that Drake minded, but some days, I was all over the place. I felt like I had no control over them. They were beginning to drive me mad.
“Can you be a little late for work today?” I asked, placing the tray of food on the bedside table. I didn’t take my eyes off him as I watched him walk over to the bed. “I’d hate for you to get into trouble.” I grinned.
“I could probably weasel my way out of it with the boss.”
“You are the boss.”
“I know.” And with that, he made his way on top of me, brushing the covers off. “I think I can spare a few minutes…” He pressed his lips across my jaw, slowly moving to my neck. He bit it gently, making a moan escape my mouth at his touch and eagerness. “…for you.”
His hands slid up my sides, taking my shirt up with them. I arched my neck to the side, giving him better access as the sensations riveted through me.
I reached down, pressing him harder into me. I felt his hardness against me, making me desperate and needy for him.
The hormones made my body respond to him so much more—not that I didn’t before—but it was magnified. It was intensified, and I felt desperate to have him.
“Screw the foreplay. I need to have you right now,” I demanded, pushing his body harder against mine.
“Such a romantic, aren’t you?” I could feel him smiling against my neck as he continued softly kissing.
“I mean it. I’m going to explode,” I breathed out rapidly. Just his touch could undo me completely.
“Alright, hold on, baby.” He lowered his body and in one swift motion, slid my panties down. I wasn’t looking for romance right now. I needed him just as much as I needed to breathe.
I threw my shirt over my head and unclasped my bra. It was still weird seeing my body naked with the way it was changing so fast, but it was also a constant reminder of the love Drake and I shared.
Instead of pressing into me like I wanted him to, he tenderly laid kisses over my stomach and in between my breasts. He was torturing me. He knew it, too. I was practically grinding against him, yet he refused to give in.
“Baby, please,” I moaned out desperately.
“I can’t help it. You are just so beautiful. You have the most beautiful pregnant glow.” He continued to lay kisses around my bump, slowly, taking his time.
“That’s great,” I huffed, cupping his face up to look at me. “I’m going to handcuff you to this bed and straddle you if you don’t—”
He forced two fingers inside me before I could finish what I was saying. I moaned loudly at the surprise sensation, arching my hips up to greet his fingers.
“You’re feisty when you’re desperate.” He laughed as he worked his fingers in and out of me, hitting the perfect spot over and over.
I ignored him and grabbed the bedrail behind me, arching my body up to him as I needed and wanted to feel him inside me.
“How badly do you need it, baby?” Drake whispered with a hint of humor in his voice.
“You know how badly,” I snapped, unable to open my eyes. Still, I could hear the amusement in his tone. He enjoyed torturing me and secretly loved it.
“Say it,” he demanded, pressing harder into me, twisting his wrist, and practically taking all the air out of my lungs. “Say what you need, baby.”
“I need you! I need you inside, right now. God, I swear, I’ll do anything,” I pleaded, willing to do just about anything to get what I wanted from him.
“Anything for my sweet girl,” he hummed, lowering his lips to where his fingers were. He sucked hard, leaving no time for me to retaliate. My back arched, enjoying the sensations that released inside of me. My body shivered with pleasure, unable to control my own breathing as I moaned out.
He lifted his head and covered my body with his. I watched as he licked his fingers, moaning out pleasurable sounds.
“Keep your hands up,” he ordered. I continued hanging onto the bedrail, tightening my grip as he finally pushed himself into me. The feeling was overwhelming as I took him all in, finally feeling full and satisfied.
He leaned down and kissed me gently as he rocked his hips into me. His breathing quickened as the air blew over my lips. His mouth wandered to my ear, blowing and licking over my lobe, making it harder to leave my hands up. I wanted to dig my nails into him and drive him insane as much as he was doing to me. He lowered his hand and cupped my breast, squeezing gently. I screamed out his name, pushing my breast into his hand urgently, desperately needing the release.
He lowered his face and took it into his mouth, swirling his tongue around my peaked nipple. He grabbed one leg and placed it on top of his shoulder, allowing him to get deeper inside me. That was enough to set me off. I screamed out, not holding back as I greeted his hips with mine, soaking up every pleasurable second.
It wasn’t long before Drake did the same, milking his own release as he grinded into me. He lay on top of me as we both tried to get ahold of our breathing, panting into each other.
“Well, if this wasn’t the best morning I’ve ever had—breakfast in bed and sex all before my shower.” I grinned. My legs felt like jelly as all my muscles were stretched and aching.
“Glad to be of service.” His voice was filled with amusement. I’ve been like this for the past few months—needing sex on demand. I felt bad, as if I were using him, but I figured it wasn’t much different from before I got pregnant.
“Must be horrible for you, always needing to fulfill my needs, and all.” I stroked his back with my fingertips as he continued lying on top of me.
“It’s not always easy being the boss. Sometimes I have to do the dirty work.” I could feel his smile against my chest as we bantered.
“Oh, you poor thing. I almost feel sorry for you.” I rolled my eyes.
He kissed me lightly on the lips before rolling off the bed. I just watched as he walked to the bathroom. I listened as the shower started and steam began filling the room.
“Come on, let’s shower together.” He smiled, holding his hand out for me.
“Definitely the best morning ever.” I grinned, taking his hand in mind as I followed him in.
And it was the best shower ever.

Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: February 4, 2013

How can you continue living when you’re living a lie? How can you convince your body to stop feeling, your soul to stop caring, and your heart to stop beating?

Haunted by her past, Olivia Adler flees Boston for a beach in Florida, leaving everyone behind, trying to shut the world out. Remaining a relative recluse in her self-imposed prison, she tries to turn everything off, wanting to feel nothing. But a new acquaintance won’t let that happen. After being away from Alexander for a month, his voice constantly ringing in her head, reminding her that her inability to confront her demons will not only destroy her, but also him, can she really be expected to want to feel again when it brings nothing but pain?

Back in Boston, everywhere he turns, Alexander Burnham is reminded of Olivia… His Olivia… He tries to dull the ache left in his heart the only way he knows how… in the bed of a beautiful woman. But Alexander isn’t about to lose his Olivia. After a clue comes to light regarding Olivia’s whereabouts, can he convince her to return to Boston with him? When a force that has laid dormant for months resurfaces, can Alexander still protect her from the unknown danger? And when Alexander comes face to face with a shadow of both his and Olivia’s past, will he be able to tell her the secret that is threatening to tear them apart?

A Tragic Wreck is the continuation of T.K. Leigh’s heart-breaking Beautiful Mess series.

“Well, then, what do you want from me, Olivia?” he asked loudly, watching her walk away.

She spun around abruptly and searched his eyes. “I don’t want you to always feel like you have to come and help me, Alex,” she whimpered, her throat beginning to close up again, thinking about the man who was no longer hers. “I just want you to stand by my side while I try to help myself.” Her eyes narrowed, staring at him as he remained silent on the busy Boston street. “Do you think you can do that?” She looked at him as snow continued to blanket the sidewalk, desperately wanting him to say that yes, he could do that. That he would stand by her side. That he would forget all about her running out on him. And that he would do anything he could to make sure she never did the same thing again.

But instead, Alexander just stood there and stared, not saying anything.

Several moments passed, the silence deafening. “That’s what I thought.” Her eyes fell as she turned and continued to walk, shivering from the snow and the last shattered pieces of her heart being stomped on.

Alexander tried to open his mouth to say something. Anything. Tell her to wait. Stop. He made a mistake. But nothing came out. He knew he had just let the only woman he would ever truly love walk out of his life. And he did nothing. He watched his entire world fall apart and he didn’t do anything to stop it. All of a sudden, he felt more lonely than he had ever felt in all his thirty years.

Synopsis: My name is Julia, and I’m the daughter of Connor and Ellery Black. I may look like Daddy’s little princess, but I’m far from it. My life consists of lying to my parents and sneaking out of the penthouse. My CEO millionaire father seems to think that at the tender age of sixteen, I’m too young to date boys. My mother, the artist, tries to stay neutral and doesn’t say too much.

My best friend London and I hang out almost every day. We love to shop, and we try to pick up all the bad boys that our parents wouldn’t approve of. We occasionally get into trouble, but I can usually talk my way out of it, except for the time my father caught me and Brody Sullivan having sex in my bedroom.

This is the story of my journey through life, in which I try to figure out who I am, from the time of my sixteenth birthday until the day I marry the man of my dreams, Jake Jensen. My aspirations, dreams, hard work, defiance, and smart mouth are all woven into one thing – me, being Julia!
